Death Valley Ride

Welcome to the first overnighter of 2026
We are planning to rendezvous with the Santa Maria HOG Chapter in Death Valley!
Day 1 – Friday April 10th
Meet at the Safeway Parking lot in Chino Valley. Ride briefing at 8:15 and KSU at 8:30. Please show up with a full tank of gas an an empty bladder.
We will head North on AZ-89 to Ash fork and stop at the ONE9 Travel Center to pick up anyone riding from Sedona (so they don’t have to ride all the way down to Chino Valley.) Plan on arriving at the ONE9 Travel Center at approximately 9:10 and KSU at no later than 9:30.
We will continue on I-40 W to Kingman for a fuel stop.
Then US-93 N to I-11 N to I-215 W to I-15 S to NV-160 W where we will stop in South Las Vegas for FUEL (Chevron) and LUNCH (In-N-Out Burger).
After lunch we will continue up NV-160 Pahrump, where we will stop for fuel.
Then one final push from NV-160 W to US-95 N to the Stage Coach Hotel in Beatty, NV, where you should fuel up at the gas station next to the Stage Coach Hotel – before checking in!
We thusly, have arrived at our destination and termination point for day 1.
We can discuss dinner plans at that time.
Day 2 – Saturday, April 11th – Day Ride though Death Valley with SM HOG
West on Highway 374.
Stopping at the welcome to Death Valley sign for a quick photo (9.5 miles).
We are going to head south on Highway 190 making several stops.

Longstreet Casino for gas and lunch (82 miles).
West on Highway 127.
Stopping at the Amargosa Opera House
Right on Highway 178 / Jubilee Pass Road heading north.
Bad Water Basin – which currently has water I am told.

Continue north to Highway 190 to Highway 374 and back to Beatty (150 miles).
We have arrived at our destination and termination point for day 2.
Day 3 – Sunday April 12 – Return to Prescott
We will ride back to Prescott the reverse of day 1. We will discuss departure time.
