Lake Havasu Ride, 11/18-19/23

Rain did not deter the YHOGs for their last overnight ride of the year, this time to Lake Havasu City. Actually, the rain had just passed and our timing was perfect–just a few light raindrops as we rode down through Skull Valley on our way. With a lunch stop in Salome, and an interesting stop at Parker Dam, we made Lake Havasu mid-afternoon on Saturday. As we prepared to leave on Sunday, we found one member’s battery had died, so it was time for a bit of roadside repair. The YHOGs jumped into action, getting a new battery installed and running, and we were on our way to Kingman, then toward home.
